It's the same problem in every industry, they can't be content with the same obnoxious amount of money every quarter, it has to be more each time, even if that kills the business (& thus the livelihoods of everyone involved)
I want to physically sit shareholders down, in a big group so they can feel everyone's eye on them, and ask them, individually, in the tone of voice a therapist would use:
"Why do you WANT endless growth? Why is sustained, stable income not enough for you? What hole in yourself are you trying to fill?"
